We celebrate our fifth anniversary season in a big way. Rolling Stone Magazine says that headliner Phony Ppl is “ready for the world” with their 2018 release mō’zā-ik.  We have Grammy award winner Keyon Harrold  (as part of the White Plains Jazzfest); and Charley Crockett (“a rollicking mix of classic folk, soul, jazz, honky-tonk and blues", Rolling Stone) getting pumped up the night before his Newport Folk Festival debut.

Our summer lineup also includes the guitar shredding Chris Bergson featuring the remarkable vocalist Ellis Hooks (returning later in the summer, leading his own band); Tuba Skinny, a revered group based in New Orleans;The Rad Trads, their song list ricochets, with four alternating lead singers, from one edgy jazzed up pop hit to another, a once-in-a-generation talent, the phenomenal 17 yr old vocalist Alexis Morrast; and the sensational bassist Endea Owens with her star-studded band.

Sammy Rae and the Friends kick off the season with music that's huge (8pc) and pitch perfect. It's also inclusive: she wants to make friends. So do we. We welcome artists from everywhere on the music map. Wherever you come from: work, home, around town, let's band together Thursday nights at the City Center.
